At Laidley Bowls Club, everyone is welcome. We pride ourselves on providing a friendly, inclusive environment for people of all ages and skill levels, with new and junior players especially encouraged to join.
Whether you’re trying lawn bowls for the first time or looking to improve your game, our experienced members are here to help. We have an accredited Club Coach and accredited Club Umpires who are available to support and develop players.
Our air-conditioned clubhouse, originally opened in 1948, offers a comfortable place to relax before or after a game. It features a fully licensed bar and a well-equipped kitchen, making it the perfect place to socialise with friends and fellow bowlers.
We’re also proud to have one of the finest bowling greens in the Lockyer Valley, meticulously maintained by our experienced greenkeeping team to provide excellent playing conditions year-round.
Bowls is at the heart of everything we do at Laidley Bowls Club. We host regular social bowls on Wednesday mornings and Saturday afternoons, with light refreshments provided for players and guests.
For those who enjoy a little friendly competition, we conduct championship competitions for singles, pairs, triples and fours. Also, our club proudly competes in district pennant events and hosts a variety of carnivals throughout the year. We also hold our popular monthly Triples Competition (formerly the 500 Club) on the second Monday of each month.
Visiting bowlers, along with their friends and family, are always welcome to join us, whether it’s for a social game, a competition, or simply to enjoy the friendly atmosphere.
Beyond the greens, the club also hosts Bingo every Thursday morning, with eyes down at 10:00 am. It’s a great way to catch up with friends and enjoy a fun morning at the club.
